We're removing the Hudsons Road, Spotswood level crossing by building a rail bridge over the road. We'll also build a brand-new Spotswood Station.
Building a rail bridge over the road will create more opportunity for open space and better walking and cycling connections.
Planned timeline
The Hudsons Road level crossing will be removed and the new Spotswood Station open by 2028.
Removing this level crossing will contribute to a level crossing free Werribee Line by 2029.
