Make your mark and name your twin tunnels!

Victorians, here’s your chance to leave a lasting legacy in Victoria!

The countdown begins as we look to open the new tunnels by the end of 2025, providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge for drivers.

We’re seeking suggested names for each of the tunnels inspired by local landmarks, past icons of the western suburbs, or cultural connections. The tunnels are in Yarraville in Melbourne's inner west, taking drivers between the West Gate Freeway and the Maribyrnong River.

All suggestions will be reviewed by a selection committee, before the names are revealed later this year.

As thanks for suggesting an eligible name, you'll go into the draw to win a $500 Shell Gift Card. The winners will also have the opportunity to nominate a community organisation or charity for a $2,500 donation.
