Passengers at Marshall Station can look forward to a more modern and accessible station as part of the South Geelong to Waurn Ponds Duplication.

Benefits

A new waiting room is being built on the original platform so passengers can wait for their train in comfort.

A second platform and track will increase reliability of services. Trains will be able to pass each other at the station, which means services can recover faster from unexpected delays.

It will also enable 5 train services per hour during the peaks and 3 per hour between the peaks for Marshall and Waurn Ponds stations.

A new pedestrian overpass will connect both platforms. It will feature ramps and lifts for people with mobility aids or prams to access either side. There will be entrances on both sides of the station, one for each platform.
