Melbourne is growing. We’re building the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) now to make moving across Melbourne easier, quicker and more affordable.
The SRL is under construction and will improve travel times, reduce congestion and support Melbourne as it grows. It will enable more homes to be built and create greater housing choice to the areas around the stations – where people want to live – within walking distance of public transport, services, jobs, schools, universities and quality open space.
