The SRL East Urban Design Strategy (UDS) will guide the design of the stations and rail infrastructure. It is designed to maximise SRL East’s positive contribution to the surrounding precincts and ensure final designs delivers enhanced outcomes for local communities.

Prior to the development of the permanent above ground components of buildings (including final built form, permanent roads and public realm, pedestrian and cycle routes and permanent bus and tram interchanges) Urban Design and Landscape Plans (UDLP) will be prepared to the satisfaction of the Minister.
