The Metro Tunnel Creative Program partnered with Open House Melbourne to present a catalyst conversation: Rail as Civic Infrastructure, held at RMIT Storey Hall.
RSHP architect and senior partner Ivan Harbour was the event keynote speaker and examined how architecture contributes to the public life of a city, and the important contribution of rail design to Melbourne's civic realm.
The keynote was followed by a panel discussion that featured Hassell architect and principal Ingrid Bakker and architect for the Victorian Government, Jill Garner, who shared insights into the design and delivery of the 5 new Metro Tunnel stations.
If you missed the event, a recording is now available to view.
